Security at Normies.
Normies combines wallet infrastructure, device and account security, smart-contract controls, monitoring, and partner safeguards. Here is what that means in practice, in plain English.
Wallets
The default wallet, imported wallets, and how access works.
The default Normies wallet is powered by Privy and has no seed phrase to manage. If you import a wallet, the imported seed phrase and private keys stay on your device; Normies does not store them.
How transactions are authorized and how recovery works depend on the wallet type and the transaction flow. Keep your recovery methods current so you do not lose access.
02Account and device security
The protections around your account and sessions.
Normies uses account authentication, device protections, session controls, access controls, and monitoring to help protect users and the platform.
03Smart-contract and digital-asset risk
What no security design can remove.
Digital assets, stablecoins, blockchains, smart contracts, networks, and third-party providers involve risk. No security design eliminates every risk. Review transaction details before you confirm, and protect your devices and recovery methods.
